Police Movie Festival 2019, Menpar: The Best Way to Give a Message through Work

The Police Movie Festival is here for the sixth time. This year, the award for filmmakers, especially short films and animation, is different from the previous year. The festival is more lively. This was proven by 386 filmmakers and animators from all over the country who enlivened the biggest film festival in the Indonesian National Police.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama appreciated the 2019 Police Festival Movie title.

This is my first time giving a formal speech since serving as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. Previously I was only invited and only became a participant, but here I am willing to give a speech because this is my basic in the entertainment world, “Wishnutama said.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the 6th Police Movie Festival was choosing 10 short film nominations and 10 best-animated film nominations to win. At the event that took place at the Jakarta Theater, Sarinah, Jakarta, Thursday (11/07/2019) night, the first winner in the animated film category was won by Real Prabaya with the film “Strong”, 2nd place Candra Hadi Suparman with the film “Unlikely Friendship” and M Fachmy Alrasyid with the film “Terror” in third place.

For the short film category, won by Jane Chrisdiyanti with the film “Cikal”, in the second place won by Suwanda with the film “Hidden”, Darius Manihuruk with the film “Behind the Shield” ranks 3. In addition to receiving direct awards from the Deputy Chief of Police, the winners also received cash prizes with a total of Rp150 million.

These winners have been judged by competent judges in their fields, such as Monty Tiwa, Chicco Jericho, Prilly Latuconsina, and Wahyu Aditya.
